Sometimes, a good night’s sleep is just not enough. TV and computer monitors aren’t doing your eyesight any good. And how much coffee do you think you can chug before you feel sick?
Well, forget about that!
Eye doctors have developed 5 very easy and helpful eye exercises. Just follow these simple steps to cure your tired eyes and stay wide-awake for as long as you need.
Don’t worry, it’s not as scary as it sounds. Actually, all you have to do is close your eyes and cup them with your palms. Stare into the relaxing darkness for a couple of minutes.
Side To Side.
Keep your head straight (whether you’re sitting or standing, it doesn’t matter). Now, WITHOUT moving your head, look to your left and focus on what you see. Afterwards, look to your right and, again, focus on what you see. Repeat this 5 times. For maximum effect, do this cycle 3 times.
Up And Down.
The same as before: keep your head straight and DON’T move your head. Now look up, focus on what you see. Then look down, focus on what you see. Repeat 5 times. Repeat the whole cycle 3 times for best results.
Again, while keeping your head straight, slowly roll your eyes clockwise 5 times. Afterwards, roll them counterclockwise for another 5 times. Remember NOT to move your head and to do it slowly unless you want to get dizzy. Repeat the cycle 5 times.
I saved the best and easiest for last. Just close your eyes. Now squeeze your eyes tightly for 3 seconds. Open your eyes. Feel awake yet? Relax your eye muscles a little, then do it again for a total of ten times.
See how easy that was?
Remember NOT to do this while moving and ESPECIALLY driving. Otherwise, you can do this almost anywhere, provided you have a few moments of relaxation to spare.
